Position Overview

The Assistant Prep Lead is responsible for providing hands-on support for the prep team and senior prep lead on daily work assignments. This will include leading a team of up to 12 team members on Safety and Food Safety compliance, assigning daily work assignments, and documentation for product movements for inventory and traceability purposes. This position will be responsible for data entry into the company inventory management system. Other responsibilities will include assisting with weekly and monthly inventories. This position will also serve as a back-up for senior lead positions when necessary. This is a full time on-site position with standard hours of 6am to 3:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS - The ideal candidate will have the following:

• The ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently
• Previous Food manufacturing knowledge and experience
• Understanding of HACCP and basic food safety guidelines
• A very positive attitude
• Basic computer skills (Google Sheets and Google Docs)
• Self directed and self starter
• Lift up to 50lbs continuously throughout the entire shift
• Walk and stand for entire shift (8-10 hours)
• Present information clearly and concisely to a group
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Withstand a production environment with exposure to food allergens, dust and varying temperatures
• Honest and respectful communication

COMPENSATION -

Salary: $ 20.00 - 24.00 Hourly
