About the Role:
As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for the origination of mortgage loans and the marketing of loan products in a specific area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated sales experience and real estate knowledge.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial interview with potential borrower(s) and pre-qualify applicants for financing.
- Complete loan applications.
- Determine which mortgage product best suits borrowers' needs.
- Gather necessary documentation to complete loan file.
- Follow-up on referrals from realtors, builders, and bank.
- Maintain referral network with realtors, builders, and other real estate professionals.
- Market a variety of loan products.
- Attend builder/realtor shows and seminars.
- Assist loan closers in obtaining information as noted by loan underwriters.
