Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Lender. The position is based in Newark, OH, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Commercial Lender will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting commercial and small business loans, managing client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Other responsibilities include developing and expanding the lending portfolio and collaborating with the team to meet the bank’s financial goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Underwriting and managing commercial and small business loans
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on relationship management
- Experience or knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) programs
- Background in Finance and Loans
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in commercial lending or a related financial role is preferred
