This is a 2nd shift part time position.

We’ll need a little flexibility with your time so we can serve our guests the best we can.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT SUMMARY:
This position has the overall responsibility for cleaning and storing linens/uniforms in a timely, organized manner to ensure that hotel's laundry and linen needs are met.

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
- Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
- Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers.
- Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards.
- Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Use only approved chemicals and follow all Hotel safety standards.
- Notify Supervisor/Manager of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens, to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.
- Attend mandatory meetings and hotel functions.
- Comply with all company standards and policies, as established in the employee handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Some laundry experience preferred.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 400 pounds.
- Frequently standing up and moving about the work area.
- Frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
- Frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
- Work area may become noisy at times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.75 per hour
