Duties
- Assist staff by delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests
- Support food preparation and plating as needed, following safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
- Ensure proper handling and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries
- Assist with banquet or special event setups as needed
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest services, and communication throughout all interactions
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
- Experience working in banquet settings, hotel restaurants, or culinary environments is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing excellent guest services
- Prior kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and customer satisfaction
