Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS, Toast.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Process sales transactions accurately while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation when needed to support kitchen staff
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently
- Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink pairing techniques
- Basic math skills for bill calculation and cash handling procedures
- Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
