Nestled high amongst the beauty of Hocking Hills, our resort provides guests with a one-of-a-kind glamping experience centered around comfort, creativity, and exceptional hospitality. We are expanding our leadership team and seeking an experienced, polished, professional Resort Manager to oversee daily operations and help shape the guest experience from the ground up.
Job Summary
The Resort Manager will be the on-site leader responsible for staff supervision, front desk operations, sales, marketing, guest relations, and cross-department coordination. This role oversees the café and clubhouse, manages and trains staff, and participates in the hiring of two cross-trained assistants for café/clubhouse and room service operations. This position includes hands-on responsibilities such as running all operations, coordinating room service, guest communications, and ensuring all resort operations run smoothly.
Start Date: Training Begins Spring 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the resort, including tiny treehouse guest accommodations.
- Supervise café and clubhouse staff; ensure high-quality service and professionalism.
- Manage clubhouse group bookings, private parties, and event scheduling, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Lead recruiting, hiring, and training of two cross-trained assistants for café/clubhouse support.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in/out, concierge services, guest communications, and room service coordination.
- Act as the primary liaison between ownership, staff, vendors, and guests.
- Manage sales, marketing initiatives, and promotional strategies to increase occupancy and guest engagement.
- Ensure all guest concerns and issues are addressed promptly, professionally, and effectively.
- Maintain resort standards for cleanliness, safety, hospitality, brand presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Represent the resort with a polished, professional, well-dressed appearance at all times.
Qualifications – (Required)

- 5–10 years of experience in hospitality management, resort operations, hotel management, or short-term rental leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and supervise staff.
- Strong background in guest relations, sales, and marketing.
- Proven experience in managing multi-department operations (operations, food service, housekeeping, etc.).
- Must be comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role (not a remote or off-site management position).
- Applicant must currently live within 30 minutes of the resort OR be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided, after relocation- Resort Manager must live within 30 minutes of site)
- Non-smoker; must maintain a polished, professional appearance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as required.
