This position works closely with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to manage supplier partnerships, conduct supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement across supplier quality systems.This individual will be responsible for supplier qualification, performance monitoring, corrective action management, and maintaining compliance with aerospace quality standards. As the primary Supplier Quality Engineer onsite, this role requires a highly independent professional who can manage supplier relationships, analyze supplier performance data, and implement measurable improvements across the supplier network.What You’ll DoConduct supplier audits, surveillance activities, and supplier performance evaluationsDrive supplier quality improvements and ensure supplier quality systems meet organizational requirementsIssue and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and monitor resolution of supplier issuesMonitor supplier quality performance and identify improvement opportunitiesMaintain supplier quality records including audits, certifications, and corrective action documentationDefine and manage supplier quality metrics and performance indicatorsManage the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and ensure supplier compliance documentation remains currentSupport supplier qualification and supplier risk assessment activitiesPartner with engineering and supply chain teams to evaluate new suppliers and define specificationsAnalyze supplier quality data and prepare reports identifying trends and improvement opportunitiesParticipate in supplier capability evaluations and work transfer monitoringSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier performanceTravel to supplier locations domestically and internationally (up to 40%)What You BringBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience3 years of Quality Engineering experience3 years of Supplier Quality auditing experienceStrong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standardsExperience performing supplier audits and managing supplier quality performanceExperience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies such as 8D and CAPAExperience collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing teamsAbility to analyze supplier performance metrics and implement improvement strategiesExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office toolsMust be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check and drug screenPreferred QualificationsAS9100 Lead Auditor certification (or ability to obtain certification)Aerospace industry experienceExperience with supplier development or supplier qualification programsExperience working in regulated manufacturing environmentsWhat You GetCompetitive base salary of $80K–$105KComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matchOpportunity to own and shape supplier quality processes at the siteHigh visibility role working directly with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing leadershipExposure to a global supplier network supporting aerospace and defense applicationsTravel opportunities to supplier locations across the U.S., Mexico, and international locations
