Escrow Manager

The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a growing financial services company that moves fast and closes deals to hire an Escrow Officer. If you thrive on turning near-chaos into smooth funding days, this is your role.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3 days in-office per week

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Compensation: $140,000 – $150,000 base performance bonus

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, hire, train, and mentor the Closing team
• Build and refine processes that accelerate deals without ever compromising compliance
• Review and approve loans pre-funding — your sign-off carries real weight
• Monitor the pipeline daily, spotting issues before they become fires
• Serve as the go-to expert for leadership on funding timelines and pipeline health
• Manage key relationships with title companies, escrow, custodians, banks, and other partners
• Elevate the borrower experience with clear communication and zero surprises
• Scale and optimize Post-Closing operations (because the work doesn’t end at funding)
• Partner closely with Originations, Underwriting, Servicing, and Compliance to keep everything flowing
• Continuously improve systems, workflows, and technology

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in real estate, mortgage, or lending operations
• 3 years leading closing or funding teams
• Deep expertise in loan products, guidelines, and regulatory requirements (you live and breathe this)
• Proactive problem-solver who sees issues coming from a mile away
• Ability to manage intricate details while thinking strategically
• Strong communicator who can turn “lending chaos” into clear, actionable updates
• Comfortable working in Salesforce or similar loan origination systems
