Responsibilities:
- Assist with AWL Grip and Alexseal spray applications – Full hull deck and house painting as well as blended repairs
- Assist with varnish application and preparation
- Fiberglass work primarily astetic with some structural glass work
- Gelcoat spot repairs and wet sanding
- Shrink wrap application and removal
- Estimations process of all jobs
- Sprayed and roll and tipped racing bottoms – burnishing/ wet sanded finishes
- Prioritization and management of multiple jobs – efficient operation with a crew
- Detailing and paint corrections using compound/wax/wet sanding to achieve a like new finish
- In water pre departure washes and staging of vessels
- Communicating with management about project deadlines and updated hours
- 1 year of general paint/finish experience preferred.
- Background in industrial, commercial construction, shipyard, or house painting.
- Ability to follow manufacturers’ specifications and uphold high standards of excellence.
