Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support when needed to uphold safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering tasks, while maintaining accountability.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling.
- Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is a plus.
