We are seeking an
Banquet Bartender
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)
- Greeting guests, promoting and upselling drinks and special promotions.
- Preparing drinks, including icing, mixing, garnishing and presenting drinks. Practicing prudent portion controls, including using a portion control pourer or jigger.
- Performing side work, including setting up and maintaining station, maintaining inventories, replenishing condiments, restocking side stands and cleaning. Assisting with bussing and resetting tables, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One year or more of related experience is required.
- Experience creating new cocktails and extensive knowledge of spirits is preferred.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
- Accomplishing tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Consistent movement to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Occasionally performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Constantly performing light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally performing medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Occasionally exposed to cold temperatures (i.e. walk-in coolers and freezers).
- Occasionally exposed to high temperatures (i.e. kitchens and prep areas).
- Consistently exposed to noisy environments (i.e. music and bar conversations).
- Occasionally exposed to small and/or enclosed spaces.
- Majority on-call shifts during afternoon and evening, primarily weekends.
- Occasionally may be required to work days or later evenings to meet business needs.
- $7.50 per hour base pay plus tips.
- $500 bonus after your first 90 days.
