Essential Job Functions*
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures that comply with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, ensuring comprehensive understanding of safety procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture and integrate safety considerations into everyday operations.
- Analyze incident reports and safety data to identify trends and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and investigations with corporate safety team support.
- Collaborate and work with corporate safety team to ensure alignment and conformance to corporate safety standards and practices.
- Assist/develop/monitor safety KPI metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop safety initiative capital proposals.
- Travel as needed to various work sites up to 25%.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in safety management or supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
- Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and implement effective safety solutions.
- Proven track record of developing and leading safety training programs.
- Knowledge of equipment safety and environmental safety is a plus.
- Proficiency in safety management software and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
