Reset Specialist

Job Summary - Traveling Reset Specialist

Coordinates a variety of field projects including new store sets, re-sets, and conversions to ensure that the company provides value added services to customers.

Essential Job Functions*

• Works with Hillman corporate staff and customers to plan, schedule, and implement projects. Addresses and resolves issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinates the successful assembly of product displays and merchandising systems at customer locations.
• Supervises temporary employees and third-party merchandisers at customer locations.
• Maintains excellent customer relations at the store level.
• Serves as a back up to Sales and Service Representatives as needed.
• Maintains ongoing communication with supervisor. Submits required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Maintains required records and manages expenses within company budgets.
• Maintains a current knowledge of company products, field operations, and customer account specifications.
• Travels constantly within the United States
• Work involves frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting.
• Work involves exposure to dust and occasional dirty conditions.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years field service or merchandising experience, preferable in a large-scale retail environment.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows
• Knowledge of plan-o-grams - able to work off plan-o-grams in an efficient manner. Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong organization, planning skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and deal tactfully with the public.
• Able to travel 80 - 90% of the time. Maintains a valid driver license and vehicle insurance.
• Able to operate a motor vehicle safely and lift 50 pounds.
