The Operations Intern role is designed to provide hands-on work experience and skill building for college students interested in pursuing a career in Operations/Supply Chain. In this role, the Operations Intern will learn and aid in the slotting strategies employed at the Carillon Facility working closely with Warehouse Specialists, Supply and Demand Planners/Analysts, and Warehouse Management.

The Operations Intern role is designed to provide hands-on work experience and skill building for college students interested in pursuing a career in Operations/Supply Chain. In this role, the Operations Intern will learn and aid in the slotting strategies employed at the Carillon Facility working closely with Warehouse Specialists, Supply and Demand Planners/Analysts, and Warehouse Management.

Responsibilities
- Assist with deployment of new customer/product launches.
- Assist in analyzing in-house reports to recommend slotting changes based on capacity/demand.
- Aid in analyzing warehouse specific issues and how they tie into current slotting strategies.
- Help achieve optimal flow and balance through Pick Mods via slotting strategies.
- Evaluate product family groups and their placement within the Pick Mods.
- Complete time studies to assess best placement based on product size/capacity.
- Assist Operations leadership with CI Projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently attained with an educational emphasis in Operations, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of college experience.
- Locally based in Cincinnati, OH and willing to work in the office at 5 days/week.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow through and respond to requests with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
