Position: Material Handler II

📍 Location: 1700 Carillon Blvd, Cincinnati, OH
🗓 Schedule: Monday–Friday
⏰ 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
💰 Pay: $18.50/hour $1.50 shift differential when working 2nd Shift

Job Summary

The Material Handler supports Operations by moving materials and finished products throughout the facility using a variety of powered industrial equipment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Operates a variety of powered industrial equipment
  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • Uses a hand‑held scanner
  • Picks up materials from Receiving
  • Unloads and places stock into Bulk storage
  • Replenishes materials to workstations
  • Pulls/stocks correct product to boxes and pick locations
  • Transfers finished products to designated areas
  • Stacks skids and pallets
  • Operates manual and motorized pallet jacks
  • Troubleshoots basic operating issues; escalates others to management

This job description outlines key responsibilities but may change based on business needs.

Employees are expected to actively participate in safety initiatives, report hazards, wear required PPE, and support safety committee efforts.

Education & Experience

  • Material handling experience
  • Forklift Certification required
  • Familiarity with part numbering systems a plus
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately when written in English

Operational Equipment

  • Hand-held RF scanner
  • Manual/motorized pallet jack
  • Powered Industrial Equipment

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work Environment

  • Forklift operation required
  • Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hours/day
  • Exposure to loud noise
  • Functional vision and hearing required

Physical Demands

  • Medium–Heavy work
  • Lifting up to 70 lbs
