Pay Range: $29.00 - $35.00 / hourly. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in unloading trucks and receiving shipments
- Verify that shipments match what had been ordered and work with appropriate personnel to reconcile any discrepancies
- Maintain an organized inventory in the stockroom to ensure easy accessibility.
- Run errands and procure parts as needed
- Handle shipping of urgently required parts via FedEx when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to streamline warehouse operations and uphold an organized work environment.
- Perform various maintenance tasks around the buildings, including the replacement of lighting fixtures and general upkeep duties.
- Schedule and oversee metal container pickups, ensuring timely trash container replacements.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities, including backup power generators, forklifts, and fire pumps.
- Manage scheduling and supervision of servicing and repairs, ensuring equipment remains in optimal condition.
- Apply problem-solving skills to identify cost-effective solutions for maintenance and repair needs.
- Collaborate with sub-contractors for building maintenance, pest control, HVAC, and plumbing requirements.
- Aid sub-contractors during their visits to our premises.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with sub-contractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
