Job Summary: Suppression technicians are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service with tasks related to the installation, modification, inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain a variety of fire suppression systems, including clean agent systems, dry chemical, CO2, foam and other special hazards fire protection applications.
- Perform testing of suppression system components, including alarms, pressure gauges, and release mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain the condition of their fire suppression systems, discussing necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Providing emergency service to investigate and diagnose alarm and trouble conditions to determine cause and take corrective action in order to bring system back to a normal working condition.
- Maintaining accurate and precise documentation of all work orders daily, including thorough and timely inspection reports with signature from customer submitted to inspection manager.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment with strict attention to all safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $30 - $40
