The Hill School is seeking a skilled and dedicated Master Electrician for a full-time, on-site role based in Pottstown, PA. The Master Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment throughout the campus, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine inspections, and managing energy-efficient solutions. Collaboration with the facilities and maintenance team to support school operations will also be a key part of this role.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance of lighting, wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical equipment
- Understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations to ensure compliance
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Capability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and departmental staff
- Physical stamina and ability to work in varying conditions
- State certification as a licensed Master Electrician is required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training are a plus
