The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking dependable and customer-focused Cashiers to join our Food & Beverage team at North Peak. Located at the top of the Interconnect lift, North Peak requires employees to travel to and from the worksite by snowmobile.

Primary Responsibilities (60–80% of time)
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for.
- Inform guests of daily specials, menu changes, and available food and beverage options.
- Answer questions regarding menu items, beverages, and restaurant services.
- Process guest transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle credit card payments and room charges in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify guest identification when required for alcohol sales.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Address guest complaints and concerns professionally and refer them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, properly stored, and secured at the end of each shift.
Secondary Responsibilities (20–40% of time)
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary service areas throughout the shift.
- Assist with general food and beverage operations as needed.
- Record and account for items sold, discarded, or remaining in accordance with established procedures.
- Support team members and assist with additional tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Additional Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and resort operations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have ServSafe certification or be able to obtain it after hire.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and accurately process transactions.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be comfortable riding a snowmobile to access the worksite.
- Previous cashier or food and beverage experience preferred but not required.
