We are currently hiring for a 3rd-shift Yard Groundsperson, in Lancaster, PA.
Third-shift coworkers receive a 25% shift differential, and work 4 nights per week, Mon-Thurs, 8:30pm - 7:00am.
Description:
- Will Perform all required duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders.
- Will match mark plates, as necessary.
- Will walk with and guide the MI Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking for loading and storing products.
- Will assist with onside iron work duties.
- Will be responsible to use electric drills to drill holes where needed.
Our next co-worker will ideally possess the following:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Willingness work outdoors, 100% of the time, in all weather conditions, is required.
- Previous steel erection (iron worker) or general laborer experience preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools, include drills.
- Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain while on the job.
- The ability to read, write, and follow directions.
- Prior experience in truck driving preferred
- Willingness to learn and operate Mi-Jack equipment
