Now Hiring: Barista & Café Line Associate (Part-Time)
The Hideout Café
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic team member to join our café crew. This role blends barista work with sandwich and salad line prep during busy rushes, so if you can handle both coffee and a little controlled chaos, you’ll fit right in.
Schedule:
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (mandatory unless requested off at least 2 weeks in advance)
We are open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Pay:
- $9.50/hour tips (averaging around $16/hour total)
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, matcha, smoothies, and our signature lattes like the Lana Del Latte, My Chemical Mocha, and The Toast Malone
- Work the sandwich and salad line during peak hours (avocado toasts, paninis, breakfast items, etc.)
- Learn and memorize our full menu (yes, there will be a test—don’t panic, we give you time)
- Deliver friendly, fast service in a high-energy environment
Training:
- 2 weeks of paid training to get you fully up to speed
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone local and available year-round (especially while college students are away)
- Food line or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy rushes
- Positive attitude and team mindset
