Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing menus to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Manage bar operations efficiently during shifts, including processing cash transactions and handling POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Assist in supervising staff, ensuring proper food safety practices, responsible alcohol service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
- Support overall restaurant operations by coordinating with kitchen staff, managing inventory levels, and assisting in training new team members.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality industry practices, including food handling, beverage safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Strong mixology skills with a deep knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail creation, and beverage recipe development.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with an energetic approach that enhances guest experiences.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures within the food industry.
- Ability to lead by example in bar management tasks such as cash handling, retail math calculations, and supervising serving staff.
