Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining proper drink service etiquette
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or plating as needed in a fast-paced environment to support kitchen staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or upscale establishments
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Culinary experience or beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic hospitality setting
