What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at The Hershey Company?
Job Duties:
- Follow guidelines on assigned housekeeping cleaning duties including but not limited to restrooms, locker rooms, cafeteria, office areas, windows, restocking supplies and conference rooms.
- Follow guidelines that require using a floor scrubber, I-mop, conventional mopping, vacuuming, detail cleaning, trash removal and disinfection of assigned areas in the facility.
- Complete tasks within the assigned time limit.
- Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and populate cleaning checklist.
- Must be able to perform activities without direct supervision.
- Follow food safety and quality control standards, safety regulations, and standard operational methods and procedures, including Personal Protective Equipment/.
- Other jobs as assigned by the Sanitation Manager.
- Overtime as required
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work overtime if required.
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, kneel, walk.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds infrequently.
- Work independently
- Follow instructions
