Role Description
This is a contract Assistant Producer role located in Alexandria, VA. The Assistant Producer will be responsible for supporting the Producer and Director in pre-production, production, and post-production. The Assistant Producer will also assist with managing budgets, schedules, and logistics, as well as organizing and maintaining all aspects of video shoots both local and across the country.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Knowledge of video production and post-production processes
- Experience with budget and schedule management
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in political campaign or corporate video production is a plus
- Must watch the news and follow campaigns and elections or be willing to start.
