Position Summary:
The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations on the sales floor of The Herbal Care THC, LLC. This role ensures that the customer experience is exceptional, that the store operates efficiently, and that all retail staff comply with New York State cannabis laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and deep knowledge of cannabis products and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Ensure that customers receive outstanding service by maintaining a welcoming and knowledgeable environment. Train staff to provide accurate product recommendations and educate customers on safe cannabis consumption.
- Regulatory Compliance: Uphold New York State and City cannabis laws, including ID verification, purchase limits, and age restrictions. Monitor staff compliance and address any issues immediately.
- Staff Leadership: Manage scheduling, supervise daily operations, and oversee retail staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and facilitate team meetings.
- Sales Management: Monitor daily sales metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the sales floor, displays, and customer areas are clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
- Conflict Resolution: Address escalated customer concerns with professionalism and tact.
- Cash Handling: Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis or regulated retail industry.
- Strong understanding of New York State cannabis laws and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
