POSITION OVERVIEW
In coordination with the Sales and Business Development teams, this role is responsible for inbound and outbound sales efforts, driven by research, marketing initiatives, networking, and outreach. The position focuses on generating a high profile and quality perception in the marketplace, ensuring client satisfaction, and building lasting client relationships. The role includes contributing to the development of sales strategies, meeting revenue targets, and working across departments to ensure smooth operations and service excellence.
WORK HOURS
This role is required to work a minimum of 50 hours per week. They must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs Monday - Friday with nights and weekends depending on events and functions. Travel will be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Sales Focused
- Build and maintain a client base through sales calls, prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Manage an elevated level of sales activity, including responding to inquiries and creating proposals that meet the company's financial objectives.
- Proactively set up appointments with prospects and maintain relationships.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue targets, identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Conduct in-person sales calls and attend trade shows to represent the company.
- Collaborate internally with relevant departments to ensure smooth transitions from sales to service.
- Maintain accurate CRM records to track client interactions and support sales efforts.
Revenue Generation
- Analyze personal sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for maximizing sales efficiency.
- Follow up on leads to drive revenue growth and maintain consistent communication with clients.
Sales Reporting
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, trends, and competitor activity.
- Present reports and updates to senior management and make recommendations for improvement based on customer feedback.
Operations
- As a member of the team, assist with operations as business needs require, including delivering services or supporting food operations.
Administrative
- Attend regular staff and sales meetings.
- Complete commission and mileage reports monthly and submit by deadlines.
- Engage in training and continuing education as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proven experience in business-to-business sales, including the ability to create proposals and presentations.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and assess client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and close deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a growth mindset.
- Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Google applications.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to cater to diverse client needs and sales challenges.
- Experience in the hospitality or sports industry is preferred.
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience with proven sales growth.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or sports industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with software like Tripleseat or HubSpot CRM.
- Must have reliable transportation and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
COMPENSATION
This is a salaried position with commission opportunities, subject to the Commission Standard Operating Procedures. Commissions are based on procured sales, excluding taxes, gratuity, and delivery. Employees must be active at the time of commission payment.
