DESCRIPTION:
The Hemp Collect is looking for a DTC Fulfillment Lead to own the execution, accuracy, and quality of our direct-to-consumer fulfillment operations out of our Canton, NC facility.
This is a hands-on lead role — you'll manage the daily pull/pack/ship workflow for all e-commerce orders, ensure every package meets our quality and brand standards, and coordinate directly with our Customer Care team to resolve any fulfillment issues quickly. You'll supervise a small team while staying close to daily execution.

What You'll Do:
- Manage all DTC order fulfillment — picking, packing, and shipping using Shopify, Katana, Asana, and ShipStation
- Ensure 100% of orders are QC'd before shipment — accuracy, labeling, packaging, and brand presentation
- Hit daily shipping targets and carrier cutoffs (UPS, USPS)
- Coordinate with Customer Care on order issues, shipping delays, and returns
- Track and report weekly KPIs including on-time shipment rate, order accuracy, and pack time
- Supervise and train DTC fulfillment staff on SOPs and best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Maintain batch tracking and regulatory compliance throughout the fulfillment process
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years in high-volume e-commerce or DTC fulfillment
- Experience leading or supervising a small warehouse/fulfillment team
- Comfortable with Shopify, inventory software (Katana, Cin7, or similar), and task management tools (Asana)
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized — you don't let volume become an excuse for errors
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet in a production/warehouse environment
- Professional communicator who flags issues early and works well cross-functionally
- Must be 21 and able to commute daily to Canton, NC
- Experience with regulated products (hemp, cannabis, food, or alcohol) is a plus
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Shopify and ShipStation platforms
- Experience with DTC subscription fulfillment or high-SKU operations
- Comfortable building and maintaining SOP documentation
- Experience with shipping platforms and rate optimization
