What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Operations position at The Help Company?
We are looking for an incredible Head of Operations to help run our client’s world. You are proactive, enthusiastic, positive, and hyper-organized. You’ll have the opportunity to manage the life of one of music’s current stars while working alongside some of the industry’s biggest legends.
This role is perfect for someone who thinks outside the box and is excited to support the everyday needs of a true creative. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include managing the home, overseeing appointments and scheduling, budgeting and handling invoices, coordinating studio and home maintenance and repairs, coordinating extensive travel (private, first-class, domestic, international, and multi-leg itineraries), assisting at the studio, and tackling whatever comes your way with creativity, resourcefulness, and a calm mindset.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need exceptional Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant skills. You’re a self-starter who enjoys solving problems creatively, loves organization, and naturally thinks 10 steps ahead. You understand what it takes to support someone performing at the highest level and recognize the importance of protecting time for wellness, fitness, and even a little fun alongside an incredibly demanding work schedule.
You’ll also need to love dogs—there are two in the house that you’ll help care for. You have a hospitality mindset and enjoy being part of a team. On a daily basis, you’ll coordinate logistics with the day-to-day manager, business manager, attorney, and other key members of the client’s team. You'll also be responsible for tracking budgets, processing invoices, coordinating vendors and service providers, and ensuring both the home and studio are operating seamlessly. Our client lives with his partner, who has her own team, so there will occasionally be communication overlap.
Our client appreciates thoughtful reminders and someone who can help keep everything moving forward. He works incredibly hard, values his team, and expects everyone to show up ready to play Game 7 of the World Series every single day—just like he does. If you have a creative eye and enjoy arranging flowers, selecting clothing, sourcing thoughtful gifts, or helping elevate a space, that’s a huge plus. He has an impressive art collection and appreciates someone with an eye for design and aesthetics.
Please be prepared to work a musician’s schedule. Some days will require long hours for award shows, performances, or studio sessions. Studio days can be long but typically end at a reasonable hour, and during parts of the summer, you’ll often enjoy shorter days for a couple of months. Flexibility is essential, and a Head of Operations who is efficient and knows how to maximize their time will thrive in this role.
Our client is based in Beverly Hills and has a music studio in the Valley, so you’ll spend much of your time commuting between the two. While some travel will be required, this is primarily an LA-based role focused on managing the day-to-day aspects of his life.
To be considered, please have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience supporting a high-level creative or entertainment executive, along with outstanding references. Experience managing budgets, processing invoices, coordinating household and studio operations, and working with vendors is highly preferred.
