Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
- Provides exceptional leadership and guidance to the clinical team through ongoing monitoring of treatment fidelity and growth towards personal and professional goals.
- Serves as a model of professionalism, integrity, and The Helm ABA’s core values
- Contributes to a positive, collaborative clinical environment
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Vineland 3, SSIS, etc.)
- Develops treatment plans informed by caregiver values and aligned with relevant assessments
- Provides oversight and training to ensure client progression towards meaningful goals as documented in treatment plans and assessments
- Implements exceptional case supervision and caregiver training
- Provides effective Behavior Skills Training to RBTs during supervision sessions
- Ensures all required clinical documentation is updated in a timely manner and in alignment with relevant guidelines
- Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate for client progress (including SLPs, OTs, schools, etc.)
- Ability to train and maintain appropriate crisis response protocols for high intensity behaviors
- Holds current BCBA certification and Texas licensure
- Has at least one year of experience
- Demonstrates professional communication skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Demonstrates adaptability in a high-energy clinic setting, while contributing to a supportive clinical team
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Sit, kneel, and work at child level during sessions
- Engage physically during play and respond to behavioral crises
- Full-time, salaried role range $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience
