This highly visible role is essential in creating a seamless, supportive, and professional admissions experience from initial inquiry through move-in.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, personable, and confident in navigating healthcare systems and insurance processes. This position requires collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to ensure appropriate and timely admissions.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for all admission inquiries, providing clear, compassionate communication to residents, families, hospitals, and referral sourcesCoordinate and manage the admissions process from referral to admissionConduct facility tours and present services with professionalism and warmthVerify insurance benefits, secure required authorizations, and review financial informationCollaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to evaluate and process admissionsMaintain accurate and compliant admissions documentation in accordance with state and federal regulationsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, and community partnersTrack admissions activity and maintain reporting metricsParticipate in marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field preferredPrevious experience in healthcare admissions, skilled nursing, social services, case management, or related healthcare role requiredWorking knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care plans, and insurance authorization processesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational and multitasking abilitiesCustomer-service focused with a compassionate, solutions-oriented mindsetProficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systemsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation packageHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday payRetirement plan optionsSupportive team environmentOpportunities for professional development and career advancementAt The Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we are more than a workplace — we are a team dedicated to making a difference every day.
