Compensation:
- Competitive pay structure: 55-60% of insurance payout (averaging $52-$77 per 53-minute session).
- Bi-weekly payments.
- Independent contractor position.
- Employment available
Education and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Master's degree in Counseling.
- Active Ohio LSW/LISW license.
- Active Ohio LPC/LPCC license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling (preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling services to ages 5 years old and up. Children, adults, teens.
- Provide individual, marriage, and couples counseling services using evidence-based practices.
- Establish therapeutic rapport with individuals experiencing emotional and/or mental health challenges.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other treatment providers and placement agencies as needed.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize evidence based therapeutic interventions.
- Work autonomous and independently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
- Familiarity with community mental health resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong rapport with clients.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently.
Additional Support:
- Clinical supervision required weekly for dependent staff.
- Clinical supervision is available for therapists seeking independent licensure.
