This is a year-round position with strong pay, performance-based upside, and room to grow with a multi-location company.
What this role looks like
You will run a solo service route working on gas fireplaces, inserts, and stoves in residential homes across southern Maine. Most days include diagnostics, repairs, annual cleanings, and customer communication.
Gas service is the main focus of this role. Over time, we would also like this technician to grow into wood and pellet service as skills develop. We will train you on that side of the job.
Pay
Pay starts at $28.00 to $42.00 per hour depending on experience, production, and performance.

Requirements
- Active Maine Propane and Natural Gas Technician license (required)
- Some experience with gas appliances or similar systems preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Strong willingness to learn and grow your skills
- Professional communication with homeowners
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gas fireplaces, inserts, and stoves
- Perform annual cleanings and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot ignition systems, gas valves, venting, and controls
- Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings and next steps
- Document completed work and parts used accurately
- Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
- Grow into wood and pellet service over time
