Job Details:

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00 tips

Essential job duties & responsibilities:

• Greeting customers immediately upon arrival.
• Walking customers to their table, once ready.
• Carrying customers’ drinks to their seats/tables from the bar area and transferring their tab to the table, if needed.
• Answering incoming calls promptly.
• Utilizing all tables on a rotation to achieve the highest turnaround of customers.
• Maintaining a smooth flow of the restaurant for our customers and servers.
• Maintaining the host stand well organized and stocked with desserts.
• Moving furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to tables, chairs, bar stools, boxes, equipment, and other items as assigned.
• Touring the restaurant in intervals to identify any empty tables
• Taking and placing phone orders for customers
• Packaging 3rd Party Delivery Service Orders Such as Postmates, Uber Eats, and DoorDash.
• Serving assigned host food to customers, when necessary.
• Ensuring the bakery goods are replenished for the host station.
• Maintaining and managing the inventory of food in host station.
• Training other associates as needed.
• Reliable and dependable
• Must have excellent time management skills and must be able to prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume and full-service restaurant environment.
• Must be detail orientated.
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Must be punctual.
• Must be team focused and a collaborator.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
• Vegan knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Assisting in other duties as assigned

Work Location:

Environmental &Physical Demands:

• Standing

• Carrying & lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Ability work in changing temperatures these can be hot or cold.
• Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
• Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, the severity of which depends upon the number of customers

Restaurant Schedule:

• 5 and 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Schedule Rotations to include weekends
• Holiday schedule

Experience:

• Minimum 1-year: Experience in Host/Customer Service (required)
• Minimum 1-year: Face-Pace and High-Volume Restaurant

Requirements:

• Minimum - Must have high school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
