The Hearing Doctors is an independent audiology practice dedicated to reconnecting people through better hearing. We are seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to become an important part of our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a long-term position in a supportive healthcare environment.
Our office consists of two audiologists and one additional receptionist/hearing aid assistant, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy, positive workplace culture where everyone works together to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Open and prepare the office each morning
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and warmly
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and document information accurately
- Apply patient payments and collect balances
- Manage office inventory and maintain supply levels
- Keep the reception and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist with administrative tasks to support daily office operations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and referral sources
Qualifications:
- Previous medical reception, healthcare administration, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy office environment
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable learning office systems and processes
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay (based on experience)
