Job Title: OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner (NP)Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The NP will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive women’s health services, including obstetric, gynecologic, and wellness care.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical exams
- Provide prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Perform routine and preventive screenings (Pap smears, STD testing, etc.)
- Manage contraceptive care and family planning services
- Assist with and/or perform minor procedures (as appropriate)
Obstetric Care
- Conduct routine prenatal visits
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health
- Educate patients on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care
- Identify high-risk pregnancies and collaborate with physicians
Gynecologic Care
- Perform annual well-woman exams
- Diagnose and treat infections and gynecologic conditions
- Manage menopause and hormone-related conditions
Wellness Services (if applicable)
- Provide care related to:
- Weight loss programs
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Vitamin therapies
- IV hydration therapy
Patient Education & Counseling
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Provide compassionate counseling on sensitive health topics
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical guidelines
- Maintain proper coding and billing documentation
Care Coordination
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants
- Coordinate referrals, labs, and follow-up care
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (State of Georgia or applicable state)
- Board Certified (Women’s Health NP, Family NP, or related)
- Minimum 1–2 years of OB/GYN experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
