We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Retail Food Manager to lead our retail store operations. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory control. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthy food initiatives and possess strong management skills to foster a vibrant shopping experience.
- Lead daily store operations, including sales, merchandising, and customer engagement.
- Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock rotation, and stock replenishment.
- Supervise team members, including hiring, training, employee orientation, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering, POS systems, and payroll processes with accuracy and integrity.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional marketing to boost sales and store visibility.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Develop staff schedules, monitor shift management, and foster a positive team culture focused on excellent customer service.
- Proven management experience in retail food or grocery store environments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing personnel.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in retail math, inventory management software, POS systems, and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies, merchandising, pricing, and marketing techniques.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with employee training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing payroll processes.
