Medical Assistant
The Health Spa by Vive
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented medical assistant to join our growing holistic health practice. As a medical assistant at The Health Spa by Vive, you will work closely with our nurses and practitioners to provide excellent care and service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Take patient vitals including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height and weight
- Perform phlebotomy and injections as directed by nurses and practitioners
- Assist with clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining electronic medical records as needed
- Support nurses and practitioners with medical procedures and exams as needed
- Maintain clean, organized and fully-stocked exam rooms4
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a medical assistant certificate program
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent phlebotomy and injection skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Professional communication skills and bedside manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinic, spa or holistic health setting
- Interest in training for colon hydrotherapy and/or live blood analysis
