What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrollment Service Rep & Special Projects position at The Health Plan of West Virginia Inc?
The MHT Special Projects Lead will report directly to the SVP, MHT Operations. The Lead shall assist with various efforts, including, but not limited to, community events, claims processing including assisting with credit balance audits, enrollment reconcilation, basic financial and eligibility reporting, office initiatives, staff training, policy development, MMIS account maintenance for new staff and other ad hoc projects as identified by the SVP. The Lead may be asked to serve as representative for THP at meetings with government partners, community partners, etc. and provide summary of meetings to SVP. Lead may be delegated to serve as representative on behalf of SVP for select projects.
Qualifications Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Self starter, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality
- Good communication skills
- Easily adapts to changes in work requirement
Qualification Desired:
- Ability to multi-task and process unrelated requests timely
- Familiar with BMS/WVCHIP Regulations and Guidelines
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist SVP with projects as assigned
- Serve in support role for claims and enrollment teams
- Participate in community events and create internal events to retain morale
- Assist with training staff on operational areas; serving as a resource for questions
