ABOUT THE STUDENT FINANCE QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST POSITION
The Student Finance Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of student financial data, cancellation requests, refund evaluations, and third-party financing activity.
This is not a traditional accounting role. Instead, this position sits at the intersection of data, operations, and financial analysis focused on collecting, validating, and organizing information that supports informed decision-making.
You will be responsible for reviewing student cancellation and refund requests, validating data across systems, and supporting loan cancellation requests and dispute processes with third-party financing partners. Your work ensures that decisions are made using accurate, complete, and well-documented information.
You’ll work closely with the Student Finance Coordinator to compile findings, highlight key details, and build clear, fact-based recommendations that help guide team decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, detail-oriented work and wants to grow into broader responsibilities across analytics, operations, and financial processes over time.
YOU’RE PERFECT FOR THE HEALTH INSTITUTE IF…
- You naturally catch things others miss and take pride in precision and accuracy
- You can review a 90-120 minute call and extract clear timelines, facts, and inconsistencies
- You enjoy structured, repeatable workflows and can stay focused on detailed tasks
- You think critically and can organize information into clear, logical summaries
- You’re comfortable working with policy-based guidelines and applying them consistently
- You can support communication with third-party financial partners in a clear and professional way
- You are comfortable working in a support role that focuses on building recommendations rather than making final decisions
- You communicate clearly and can present findings in a way that is easy for others to understand
- You operate with integrity and objectivity focused on facts over emotion or external pressure
- You are motivated to grow into more advanced analytical or operational responsibilities over time
- You have familiarity with contracts, agreements, or policy-driven environments, and can interpret how they apply to real-world situations
- You are comfortable reviewing claims that may include legal language, escalation threats, or regulatory references (attorneys, Better Business Bureau, FTC), and can remain objective and fact-focused
