To learn more about Baptist Health, visit us at https://www.baptistfirst.org. Highlights: Summary: The Manager, Sleep Disorders Center oversees all operational aspects of the Sleep Disorders Center. This role may also include oversight of Neurodiagnostics, depending upon the facility and assignment. The Manager will provide technical and administrative leadership to ensure high-quality patient testing and service delivery. Responsibilities include strategic planning, marketing, business development, educational initiatives, and serving as a physician liaison for the service line. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education/Experience: Graduate of an EEG program or Associate's degree required, or Bachelor's degree in Management or a health-related field preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in electroneurodiagnostics or sleep lab required. At least 5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred. License/Certification: Active Registered Polysomnographer and /or R.EEG.T required, BLS required, ACLS preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software. Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills. Must be able to meet strict deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to develop trust with leaders in the organizations. Ability to remain calm in difficult situations. Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance. Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Knowledge of universally and nationally accepted EEG and Sleep guidelines and regulations. Knowledge of the regulations and standards set forth by TJC and other federal and state regulatory bodies. Knowledge of patient billing, health care financing, budgeting, business development and strategic planning.
