The Healing Sanctum-Greenmeadow, LLC is currently looking for an active Licensed Vocational Nurse who is passionate about patient care, to help a team of passionate nurses to ensure the highest quality of care for our 6-bed congregate living facility. As a LVN, you'll be responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNA's and support staff members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care in accordance with the policies and procedures
• Checking vital signs
• Dressing wounds
• Inserting catheters
• Listening to residents and their families
• Addressing questions/concerns of residents
• Accurate and detailed charting of resident progress notes
• Timely reporting of change in resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor
• Assisting CNAs
• Ensuring equipment is in good operating order
• Monitoring residents that are at risk for falls
• Collecting lab samples
• Abiding with all facility policies and procedures including not disclosing user ID codes and passwords
• Following Infection and Control policies
• Reporting any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous materials to a supervisor immediately
• Attending annual facility in-service training programs
• Completing other assignments when requested by management
Job Type Available: Full-time, Part-time
Starting Wage: $32/hour
Shifts Available: 8 hour shifts; Mornings, Midday, and NOC
Work Days Available: Sunday - Saturday
