Instructional Aide (Part-Time, Hourly) – Private School in Healdsburg, CA
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and collaborative Instructional Aide to provide individualized, pull out and push in support to a 3rd grade student in our mainstream classroom. This is a part-time, hourly position (18 hours per week) at our independent school in Healdsburg, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one academic and behavioral support to a 3rd grade student within the classroom setting
- Reinforce teacher-directed lessons, assignments, and accommodations
- Support the student’s social-emotional growth and peer interactions
- Implement strategies to foster independence and confidence
- Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher, learning specialist, and school team
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience working with elementary-age children (school or childcare setting preferred)
- Patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to student support
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
- High school diploma required; some college coursework in education, psychology, or related field preferred
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required prior to hire
Position Details:
- Schedule: 18 hours per week, during the school day.
- Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience ($20–$25/hour)
