Responsibilities
- Safely operate helicopters during various missions, including transportation, surveillance, or logistical support
- Ensure adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies
- Conduct pre-flight inspections, maintenance checks, and post-flight reports
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and ground personnel to coordinate operations
- Supervise and mentor junior pilots or crew members as needed
- Manage flight schedules efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Analyze weather conditions and operational data to make informed decisions during flights
- Maintain detailed logs of flights, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring passenger safety and comfort during flights
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in aviation or related fields
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, with fluency in English essential for communication
- Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) governing helicopter operations
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Exceptional communication skills for clear coordination with ground staff and clients
