The Haven (Battered Women's Shelter, Inc.) has an opening for a Sexual Assault Mobile Victim Advocate. This is a full-time hourly position with the primary responsibilities of assisting sexual assault and domestic violence victims of rural counties in South Georgia in setting up sexual assault and domestic violence services within their communities. Flexibility and travel for this position is required as appointments may be scheduled in the evenings and weekends and some on-call duties. Salary range depends upon educational background and experience. Salary and position continuance is dependent upon grant allocations. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminology, or related field in Sexual Assault Advocacy with proven effectiveness. Position preferred, but not required, applicant to be bilingual (Spanish and English fluently). Must clear all background checks, education verification, drug screen, and valid driver's license with good driving record. No internal applicants at this time.
