Overview:

As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations. We are seeking a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for financial management. You will collaborate closely with our executive team to shape financial strategies that support our company's growth and success.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations and one Senior Accountant
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to senior management, banks, etc
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
  
  

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master’s Degree, CPA, or CMA certification is highly preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Proficiency using financial software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
