The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell’s delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Preconstruction Team, as part of Construction & Manufacturing, involves defining the project, identifying potential issues, planning and scheduling, the scope, cost estimation, and analyzing the job’s needs. Preconstruction services involve the preliminary construction planning and engineering services offered by companies before a job even begins.
Joining our Construction & Manufacturing Team will enable you to build the buildings on which people depend; collaborating with your team to overcome obstacles and fix problems on the job site using your skills. Strong networks are formed on construction projects because everyone on the team depends on each and every team member to get the job done.
An internship opportunity focused on preconstruction as a vital part of the construction management process. In this internship, you will assist our project management team with assigned tasks. You participate in training programs and receive training in company management tools, standards, policies, and procedures. Great role for construction management or engineering students interested in construction with a leading design-build firm.
Education/Experience:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

- Student studying engineering or construction management - or similar - from an accredited college / university program
- Knowledge of the construction industry, including methods, engineering, equipment, technology, and safety
- Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
