About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dog Trainer to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about working with dogs and helping pet owners build strong, lasting relationships with their pets.
Our facility is clean, structured, and busy, welcoming approximately 400 new dogs each year in addition to our established clientele. We provide a premium environment for both dogs and trainers, featuring:
- Large-scale indoor facility with full climate control for year-round comfort.
- Massive outdoor training space for off-leash work and high-energy sessions.
- A dynamic environment with a wide variety of breeds and behavioral needs.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a motivated, team-oriented individual who is eager to learn, grow, and succeed within our organization. While we will train the right candidate in our specific methods, applicants must have at least one year of prior experience working with dogs and using training tools (balanced training background is preferred).
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Starting Pay: $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
- Growth: After the initial introductory period, additional commission opportunities and employee benefits become available, providing strong earning potential for motivated trainers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working hands-on with dogs to reinforce basic obedience commands.
- Implementing behavior modification techniques using balanced methods.
- Improving socialization and confidence-building skills.
- Conducting both individual and group training sessions.
- Providing clear guidance and education to pet owners on effective training techniques.
- Maintaining a safe, positive, and structured training environment.
