Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients' health and safety.
- Respect and uphold resident rights while providing care.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's individual needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Assist with mobility, including lifting or transferring clients as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Skills
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding basic health indicators.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to advocating for client dignity.
- Experience in caregiving or home health settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with senior care practices and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
